Mr. Mitgang has spent nearly twelve years as a partner at the accounting firm of Peretz, Resnick and Co. At Peretz, Resnick and Co., Mr. Mitgang specializes in advising an expanding array of technology and service clientele in the areas of preparation of financial projections, development of accounting systems and policies, development of internal controls, preparation of financial statements, and corporate and individual tax planning. Mr. Mitgang supports numerous startup clients by assuming the role of the financial officer. Mr. Mitgang is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Mitgang also serves as a director on not-for-profit organizations and has been a guest speaker at numerous seminars and functions. Prior to joining Peretz, Resnick and Co., Mr. Mitgang spent six years at the accounting firm of Friedman, Alpren and Green. He received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Binghamton in 1985.
